Event photography for brands: launches, conferences and activations

A brand event is not a party with a logo on the wall. It has a job to do, and the photos are how that job keeps working after everyone goes home. I have shot openings, launches and activations across the Gold Coast, and the ones that get real value from it think about a few things early.
The photo is the deliverable, not the souvenir. For a launch or an activation, the images are the asset the whole thing was built to produce. The night is a few hours. The photos run in the recap, the sponsor report, the next campaign, the website. Brief me like the photos are the point, because they are.

Get the brand in the frame without staging it. The logo, the product, the space, the reaction on a real face. It should read as your brand without looking like a catalogue. That balance is most of the job, and it comes from knowing what to shoot, not from posing anyone.

Someone has to protect the key moments. The speech, the ribbon, the first taste, the founder and the partner in one frame. At a busy activation those happen once and fast. I read the run sheet and I am there before they land, so you are not explaining later why the one shot that mattered is missing.
I work from inside the production. I have run events, so I fold into the team. I know when to step in and when to disappear, and I do not get in the way of the thing I am there to capture. A launch that runs smoothly makes better photos, and I help it run smoothly.
If your brand has something coming up on the Gold Coast, send me a message and we will scope the coverage around what you need the photos to do.
