Every session with me is 100% customisable. The base package includes 20 final photos, and from there we adapt: more photos, projects across more than one day, multiple locations, productions in partnership with other professionals. The starting point is always a conversation. But one part of the process never changes, because it is where my biggest care for each client lives: the delivery. This post explains how it works, from the final click to the fully edited high-resolution photos in your hand, in detail.
The full timeline
A session runs around two hours on average, but there is no limit: we keep going while you are comfortable and there are photos left to make. Before it, you receive a short prep guide and count the hours for the day to arrive. After we shoot, the clock that matters is this one: within 48 business hours you receive a private online gallery with around 200 pre-treated photos. You choose the ones you will keep at your own pace, leave adjustment comments photo by photo, and I finish the editing of your selection. High resolution, ready for web and print.
Why 48 hours and not weeks
The market standard is to make the client wait several days or weeks to see any result. I think that wastes the best moment of the process. With the memories of the session still warm in your head, seeing the photos is a different experience: you remember the feeling of each click. And you choose better because of it. The post-session anxiety and curiosity are real, I feel them too, every single session, so I put myself in each client’s place and work to make that wait as short as possible while still delivering excellence.

What the preview gallery is
Around 200 photos, already pre-treated. Pre-treatment is not a filter: each session and each photo gets specific adjustments of colour, light and framing before reaching you, because a raw photo straight from the camera does not deliver what a worked photo delivers, and it would be unfair for you to decide looking at half-finished material. The gallery is online, private and exclusively yours. It stays available for as long as you need, but the faster you make your selection, the faster the final delivery arrives.
How selection works
Through your exclusive link, you access an online gallery where you choose, calmly and without rush, the number of photos you want: the exact number of the package we agreed on, or a few extras, no problem at all. No rushed selection while tired right after the session, in front of the photographer, no tight deadline. If you decide to keep more photos than agreed, I recalculate the value of the extras, simple as that.
The photo by photo comments
On each chosen photo you can leave a comment pointing to a specific adjustment. An element in the background you want removed. A strand of hair out of place. An eye that came out slightly more closed than the other. The request stays registered on the photo itself, with no loose message threads. Everything can be solved in the final edit, including something in your physical appearance that bothers you and ended up with more prominence in the photo than you would like. But two things matter here: I never alter anyone’s body without their request, and I will not push any edit to the point where it looks explicit or unnatural.
What this process protects
There is an honest economic reason behind all of this: you do not pay for the editing of photos you were never going to keep. In the traditional model, the photographer edits a closed batch and delivers it ready, and the editing work on the photos you would have discarded was charged somewhere. In my process, the heavy final editing happens only on the photos you chose and commented. Your investment goes entirely to the images that will actually exist in your life.

Quick questions
What format do the final photos come in? High resolution JPEG, ready for web and print.
Can I buy extra photos after the selection? Yes. I recalculate the package with the extras on the spot.
Does this apply to headshots and events too? Headshots follow the same process as portraits. For events, the 48 business hours stand, but I deliver all the photos at once: there is no selection step in event photography.
Where do I work? Gold Coast, Brisbane and across Queensland, on location or in a controlled setting, in English and Portuguese.
The closing
For me, the session does not end when I put the camera down. It ends when I get the message saying: “The photos look incredible!” I will always work to that point.
